Hartmann Hydrocoll – Hydrocolloid dressing 10 x 10 cm, 1 unit

Hartmann Hydrocoll is a sterile, self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing for non-infected wounds with low to moderate exudate. In contact with exudate it forms a gel that keeps the wound moist, supporting healing, particularly for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers or pressure sores.

Benefits:

• Moist healing environment: the gel formed with the exudate supports granulation and epithelialisation.
• Protective barrier: its polyurethane film lets water vapour through while remaining waterproof and germ-proof.
• Self-adhesive: no tape or fixing bandage needed.
• Hygienic: each sterile dressing is individually wrapped.

How to use:

1. Clean the wound as advised by your healthcare professional and dry the surrounding skin well.
2. Remove the protective film and apply the dressing so that it overlaps the edges of the wound.
3. Change the dressing when the gel approaches its edges or as advised by your carer.

Precautions: Do not use on infected wounds. For chronic wounds, follow the advice of a doctor or nurse.
